Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care

The Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care (WAPC) has a multidisciplinary membership base and focuses on key issues in perinatal care and how they affect women, infants, and families. Resources are available for professionals on a variety of topics related to perinatal care.

Wisconsin Cancer Risk Program Network (WICRPN)

WICRPN first established in December of 1999 to provide an opportunity for Wisconsin cancer genetics health professionals to:

Collaborate on the best practice of risk assessment and management
Identify and discuss actual or potential dilemmas in the realm of cancer genetics
Develop an intrastate support network for families impacted by hereditary cancer
Review current data and new developments in the rapidly changing field of cancer genetics
Establish a way for referring providers to identify quality cancer risk assessment programs
Explore network research opportunities
Facilitate cancer counseling of family members within the state.

Wisconsin Guild of Midwives

The Wisconsin Guild of Midwives is the professional organization for Licensed Midwives in the state.  The Guild is involved with newborn screening efforts. 

Wisconsin Newborn Screening Laboratory

The State Lab's website provides information and resources related to newborn screening for families and professionals.

Wisconsin SHINE Project

The Wisconsin SHINE Project (Screening Hearts in Newborns) is a pilot project through the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, the Medical College of Wisconsin and the State of Wisconsin designed to implement universal screening for critical congenital heart disease.

Wisconsin Sound Beginnings

Wisconsin Sound Beginnings promotes and supports universal newborn hearing screening (UNHS) and follow-up services statewide.

Wisconsin Stillbirth Service Program (WiSSP)

WiSSP, located at Marshfield Clinic, is a program for the investigation of the causes of stillbirth. Providers and families throughout Wisconsin may utilize WiSSP services.
